Commonwealth Foundation funds the establishment of the East Africa Network

Médecins du Monde has awarded a grant to TADEPA, to continue their prevention and advocacy programme, from April to December 2005. This programme includes activities aimed at rural and urban communites in the Kagera region i.e : peer education, community leader sensiblization, community based counsellors training, dramas, communication material, fisherman villages sensibilsation.
TADEPA Holds a 2 day workshop

TADEPA on 9-10 September 2006 held a Financing and Fundraising Strategies Workshop which was funded by British Hig Commision and VSO Tanzania. It was attended by Board members and Staff. It resulted in TADEPA reviewing its mission and vision and the stategic plan to be inline with the new strategies on financing and fundraising. More soon...
Uganda National Steering Committee Visits TADEPA Nile Basin Initiative Funded Project

The National Steering Committee of NBI in Uganda on 21-24 Nov 2006 visited Nile Basin Funded Project being implemeted by TADEPA in two wards in Kikomelo Division. It was a very welcome visit.
TADEPA HOLDS EAST AFRICA HIV/AIDS NETWORK IN BUKOBA.

The Networking Meeting was held at ELCT BUKOBA HOTEL from 30th-31st May. It was hosted 2o participants from the East African contries of UGANDA, KENYA and TANZANIA.

This Meeting was sponsered by the COMMON WEALTH FOUNDATION.

This meeting yeilded rusults like forming an NGO called eACH this is EAST AFRICAN C.S.Os NETWORK FOR HIV/AIDS.

There will be a flowup meeting in KAMPALA-UGANDA in the second week of June 2007  to strengthen the Network and set mordalities for progress.
